About the Role



We are seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our team at Exclaim IT. This is a great opportunity for a skilled developer to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design, develop, and test Java-based software applications, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with existing applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of Java development, applying this knowledge to improve our software and services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date, to support the development and maintenance of software applications.


Requirements




  • 5+ years of experience developing with Java.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile and SCRUM environment.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team within large complex organisations.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity, and precision both written and verbally.
  • Experience developing microservices and applications with Angular (12 and above), JSF and Springboot.
