Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Web Development and Design Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality websites using WordPress, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customise, and maintain websites using WordPress
- Manage website hosting environments using cPanel and handle database tasks using phpMyAdmin
- Create and edit multimedia content, including graphics, images, and videos, to enhance website aesthetics and functionality
- Design visually appealing web pages that provide an optimal user experience, following best practices in UI/UX design

Requirements:

- Proven experience in web development and design, particularly with WordPress
- Proficiency in using cPanel and phpMyAdmin for server and database management
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other content management systems (CMS) and web development frameworks
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git

Working Conditions:

- Part-time position available
- Day shift and morning shift available
- No weekends required
- Relocation not required within Sydney area
