About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Cairns Private Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in our Day Unit and Endoscopy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing elective surgery or diagnostic procedures in our Day Surgery Unit and Endoscopy department.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within our wards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 1 year post-graduate experience in acute care.
  • Previous surgical or endoscopy experience.
