Job Summary

The Ward Secretary plays a critical role in delivering administrative support to the Admissions and Bookings Department at a leading healthcare institution. As a key team member, you will be responsible for handling all clerical duties, ensuring seamless communication with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.

To excel in this position, the successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with all staff and customers. Previous experience working in a health services environment, particularly in hospitals or medical settings, is highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with medical billing are essential requirements. A certificate in Medical Terminology and familiarity with hospital mainframe systems are desirable but not necessary.
