Commercial Finance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Specialist to join our Finance and Control team based in Sydney.

As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic financial guidance and support to drive business growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and optimizing commercial product portfolios to maximize return on investment;
  • Eliminating value-destroying initiatives and promoting cost-effective strategies;
  • Providing financial expertise and challenge in new product development innovation and renovation processes;
  • Supporting strategy formulation and communication across the organization;
  • Coordinating and participating in market business strategy initiatives;
  • Challenging planning and allocation of financial resources to ensure optimal utilization;
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in finance and accounting, including factory accounting, costing, sales finance, distribution/supply chain, and decision support;
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is desirable;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
  • Understanding of FMCG industry and proficiency in Excel, SAP, Essbase, Business Intelligence tools;
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
