Role Overview
Cappro Pacific seeks a Regional Sales Rep to join our team in Melbourne, focusing on sales of new machinery to major customers and key market sectors like construction, civil, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales call plans to achieve and/or exceed budgeted sales objectives
- Develop sales opportunities with a high degree of conversion to profitable sales in the allocated territory
- Achieve monthly call targets
- Communicate openly and accurately with stakeholders on prospective sales
- Present sales solutions, deals, and tenders that are accurate
- Ensure consistency of information to customers and minimize quote inaccuracies
- Adhere to unit pricing structures to underpin business sales objectives
- Manage territory to maximize sales in the responsible area
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure the OEM becomes the company of first choice
- Provide local input to customer needs, competitor performance, and market trends
- Convert identified opportunities for sales to shore up the OEM position in the market or a segment
- Follow up sales leads in an efficient and timely manner
- Participate in the negotiation of profitable agreements with key customers and ensure a positive outcome for both the OEM and the customer
- Develop open communication lines to enable customers to assist the OEM in reviewing service levels and/or taking advantage of business opportunities
- Provide local market intelligence for strategic planning purposes
Machinery Portfolio
In this role, you will have a large amount of equipment to sell, ranging from 800kg to 13 tonnes, with unbelievable support from service, parts, and warranty.

- Spider lifts
- Access Equipment – Tracked and Wheeled
- All-terrain forklifts
- Truck-mounted lifts
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in new machinery
- Strong contacts within the market
- Associations and relationships within the machinery market
- Excellent territory management
- Technical expertise, preferably with a technical trade or product management experience
- Excellent communication and proven IT skills
Salary Package
Cappro Pacific is offering a negotiable salary for top performers, including a base salary of $120,000, fully maintained company 4WD, fuel card, commission structure, and superannuation.
