Supportive Home Care Professional

The role of a Home Care Assistant is to provide essential and practical support to enable older individuals to maintain their independence in their own homes.
- Personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, and grooming
- Help with daily tasks around the home, such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
- Transportation to appointments and assistance with shopping
- Managing medication and administering prescribed treatments
This position requires traveling to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will be reimbursed per kilometre traveled, plus paid time for travel.
About You- Strong interpersonal skills and patience are essential
- Prior experience in aged or community care is beneficial but not necessary; training and support can be provided
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle (minimum third-party property insurance) are required
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred but can be obtained through our organisation if needed
You must be flexible to meet the changing needs of home care clients.
