About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team on a seasonal casual basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks using a forklift.
- Vehicle Safety Checks: Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure our trucks are roadworthy.
- Delivery and Collection: Drive our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, delivering and collecting goods.
- Unloading and Processing: Return to our operational centres to unload collected goods and process them for delivery.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current and valid HC License and Forklift License.
- A strong focus on safety and a good understanding of chain of responsibility.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- The physical ability to load and unload goods of varying sizes and weights.
