Lead National Security Projects

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering projects in Adelaide. As a leader in national security, we create a secure future for Australia across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
As a Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for specific Engineering & Technology technical and programmatic performance responsibilities for the delivery of an allocated Materiel Release (MR) as part of our agile project management cadence.
- Provide timely and accurate resource requirements such as people/skills, tools, infrastructure to Centre of Excellence leads together with program discipline leads.
- Work with first and second line functional leaders to identify program team staffing.
- Provide Engineering & Technology program team recognition and stakeholder performance feedback.
- Support the mentoring and career development of program team members.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in C4ISR systems integration, including communication systems, electronic warfare, integrated air defence, and sensors. Expert experience in System of Systems integration programs and Engineering Management within a Defence engineering and regulatory framework is also required. Experience in managing technical risk, resource planning, and competency management is highly desirable.
