Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Sage Global Services Limited. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality websites that meet our clients' needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development principles, including back-end development, data modeling, and front-end development. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges with curiosity and a growth-oriented perspective.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust web solutions that meet client requirements;
  • Maintain and expand existing websites as needed;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions;
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices, bringing forward ideas for continuous improvement;
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve the web experience and provide strategic recommendations.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in developing websites and web applications;
  • A strong understanding of web security, session management, and web development best practices;
  • Experience with relational databases and best practices for data management;
  • An object-oriented programming mindset, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code;
  • Experience with basic network diagnostics and tools;
  • Experience with Linux-based server environments; command-line proficiency is an asset;
  • In-depth knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and web development best practices;
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to approach challenges with curiosity and a growth-oriented perspective;
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks within reasonable timeframes and budgets;
  • Self-starter; able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques;
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
