STEM/IT Educator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our dedicated team as a STEM/IT Teacher, responsible for teaching students from Year 7 to Year 10.

• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues and the Head of Faculty to develop and implement the STEM/IT curriculum, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment for students.
• Teaching and Learning: Utilize a variety of teaching styles and approaches to cater to individual learning needs, and employ effective pedagogical practices to expand student growth across academic, spiritual, and emotional fields.
• Pastoral Care: Actively participate in the School's pastoral care system, reflecting Loreto values and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Student Support: Provide students with a safe and supportive environment, and assist with curriculum development in collaboration with colleagues.
• School Life: Participate actively in all aspects of school life beyond the classroom, including sport, wellbeing, and cultural activities.

• Teaching Registration: Current Teaching Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Subject Expertise: Proven expertise and knowledge in teaching STEM/IT subjects from Year 7 to Year 10, with the ability to teach VCE IT/STEM highly regarded.
• Collaboration: A collaborative approach with colleagues in planning and delivering curriculum.
• Relationship Building: Proven experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff, and parents.
