About the Role

The Specialist Sonographer is a key member of our team, responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to clients across various clinical specialties. With a high level of professional independence, you will be expected to perform complex medical imaging examinations using specialized equipment.

You will continue to develop your specialist ultrasound knowledge, contribute to the development of professional knowledge among other radiographers, and contribute to professional ultrasound standards. Additionally, you may be involved in routine research programs and coordinate ultrasound quality assurance programs.

Qualifications

  • Possess an accredited postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound.
  • Be registered as an accredited medical sonographer as administered by the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

Essential Requirements:

  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
