Opportunity to Make a Difference in Mental Health

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychiatrist to join our renowned mental health services team in Perth, Western Australia.

As a Psychiatrist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a friendly and multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients in a range of adult community and inpatient settings.

Our hospital is an Accredited Mental Health Service, one of the state's most recognised and well-regarded mental health facilities, offering a range of services including Enhanced GP Liaison and Hospital in the Home Services, HITH and intensive community treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders across a range of settings, including inpatient and community-based care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote mental health and well-being.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), or equivalent specialist recognition in Psychiatry, enabling registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment.
