Supply Chain Coordinator Job

This job involves ensuring that domestic, imports and export shipments are processed and coordinated in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the movement of material and information located at our Dandenong South site.

Responsibilities/Description:

  • Understand and apply the fundamentals of imports and exports to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate order information to the logistics broker who arranges documentation and releases to customers.
  • Communicate product delivery information for customer orders including sample orders to ensure correct transport providers are chosen based on product type and destination.
  • Prepare necessary documentation.
  • Request shipment of material when available.
  • Follow the steps to receive and check documents, ensuring no discrepancies and requesting revised documents if necessary.
  • Coordinate customs clearance processes.
  • Track products through transportation and into warehouse locations.
  • Receive shipment documentation, validate information and prepare necessary paperwork.
  • Interact with warehouse staff to ensure packaging meets customer needs.
  • Adhere to company policies, rules and regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in business administration, supply chain or logistics or relevant experience.
  • +1 year's experience in logistics and supply chain related work.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and automated systems.
  • Fluent business English communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive thinking and problem-solving abilities.
