Construction Equipment Team Leader

A highly skilled and motivated individual is required to lead our construction equipment team as a Construction Equipment Leading Hand.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining work schedules to ensure efficient utilisation of equipment and resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of workshop personnel and ensuring labour is used most effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work schedules and resource allocation.
- Oversee the daily activities of workshop personnel, providing guidance and support where needed.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding customers, machine performance, product, workmanship, and warranty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain work schedules to ensure efficient use of equipment and resources.
- Supervise and guide workshop personnel in their daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on equipment maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualifications in diesel or mobile plant mechanics.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
