
Marine Data Support Coordinator

The University of Tasmania's Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) is seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to support the Australian Ocean Data Network (AODN) team in delivering high-impact, data-driven projects.
About the Role:
Provide high-level administrative and project support to the AODN Leadership Team, manage competing priorities, coordinate meetings and documentation, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a range of competing tasks under pressure and deliver quality outputs.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
• Coordinate meetings and events, and prepare associated documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the AODN Leadership Team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials.
• Develop and implement effective workflows and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements:
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
