This role involves providing support and guidance to the Commercial Director in contract management, overseeing administrative processes and ensuring adherence to company policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years' experience delivering complex civil projects and be proficient in managing major contracts, variations, and extension of time claims. They will also possess strong commercial skills, including the ability to navigate complex deal structures and exercise independent judgement in resolving issues.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contractual issues on projects
- Review incoming contractual correspondence
- Identify, evaluate, and submit potential variations/claims
- Supervise preparation of variations, claims, EOTs, and address contractual matters with stakeholders
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and within a diverse team, influencing relationships with internal and external partners and clients. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, along with mastery of contracts, schedules, documentation management, and financial administration.
