As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on property-related matters, reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on property transactions, including contract negotiation and review.
  • Conduct due diligence and assess potential risks to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with business units to explain and advise on legal matters, including commercial leasing, acquisitions, and disposals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience with in-house experience preferred.
  • Proven experience advising on real estate matters, including property transactional matters, commercial leasing, and development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian property laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with large-scale retail/property companies is preferred.
  • Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
