About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team at CraigCare Group in Pascoe Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and enhancing the lives of older adults.

As an Aged Care Professional, you will work collaboratively with our Registered Nurses to provide personalized support and assistance to residents with their daily living activities. Your primary focus will be on promoting independence, dignity, and well-being among our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Support: Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs while encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage residents in meaningful conversations, activities, and hobbies to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Care Planning and Documentation: Collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and collaboration.
Essential Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or currently working towards).
  • Previous experience in aged care or a related field.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using software applications relevant to aged care.
  • A current NDIS clearance, proof of Rights to Work, and a current immunisation certificate (including influenza and vaccination against COVID-19, including booster).
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market rates for similar positions in Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including flexible rostering arrangements, free parking, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
