Delivering quality training to medical professionals is a highly valued and sought-after skill set. This role provides an opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping the next generation of General Practitioners.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with Training Coordinators and Program Support Officers to develop tailored education programs that cater to the diverse needs of registrars, supervisors, and practices across a specified region. You will work towards creating a learning environment that is both contextually relevant and effective.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive registrar support through small group facilitation, case management, and pastoral care
  • Designing and delivering supervisor education, peer networking, and in-practice teaching support
  • Promoting general practice and rural pathways through community and education engagement
  • Contributing to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training and cultural safety education

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong passion for medical education, RACGP Fellowship (or equivalent), and current Australian specialist registration (General Practice). Experience teaching or mentoring peers or registrars is highly desirable.
