Business Analyst - Finance

The Finance Team at a leading technology firm is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive strategic growth and profitability through informed financial leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders across the organization.

This role involves providing business insights and support based on sound analytics to drive business performance. The successful candidate will have experience working in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments, ideally within the high-tech industry.

The Business Partner will be responsible for key contributions to Business Strategy development, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop resulting priorities based on robust analytics and business direction.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership teams to proactively highlight risks and opportunities related to business growth and optimal investment decisions or outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales & Marketing teams to provide strategic business analytics driving short, medium, and long-term decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, utilizing commercial expertise to evaluate sales channels, web, and e-commerce platforms to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified financial analyst and accountant with strong analytical skills and commercial understanding.
  • Demonstrable experience acting as a business partner, supporting and challenging non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Business Degree (BBA/BCom) and/or qualified CPA/CMA or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud Computing and advanced Excel skills.
