Infrastructure Solutions Expert

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Solutions Expert to deliver and implement the right solutions for our customers.

In this role, you will perform on-site delivery and implementation of open-source infrastructure solutions. You'll gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructure and business needs and make recommendations appropriate to their environment to create possibilities and resolve issues.

You will work closely with customers on various initiatives, including architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance of technologies such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ansible & Automation Products, Red Hat Satellite, Authentication services like IdM/IPA, Virtualisation technologies, and Linux Security Practices and tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a trusted adviser for engineers and project managers to deliver and implement the right solutions for our customers.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on site, addressing customer technical, development, and IT issues and needs.
  • Learning new technologies and applying those concepts to customer needs.
  • Adapting to changing customer requirements.
  • Managing technical problem identification and resolution, support system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of open-source solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise customers on development and deployment projects.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience with Red Hat Automation products including Ansible & AAP.
  • Knowledge of other Infrastructure technologies such as Red Hat Satellite, Authentication services like IdM/IPA, Virtualisation technologies, Linux Security Practices and tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, project management, and planning skills.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or willingness to pursue certification within 90 days.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • AGSVA Security Clearance at NV1 or above is desirable. Willingness to undertake appropriate clearance is a must.
