Contract Manager Position Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to serve as the primary liaison between operations and customers, ensuring seamless service delivery and mutual benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and growing key intermodal customer relationships.
  • Acting as the key account manager—supporting both the customer and operations teams.
  • Leading customer meetings, reporting, and presentations with a contract management focus.
  • Driving revenue analysis and profitability across accounts.
  • Following up on invoicing and supporting accurate billing.
  • Identifying and executing commercial opportunities for growth, including tendering and pricing.
  • Partnering cross-functionally to resolve operational issues or carrier performance gaps.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and WHS obligations.
  • Championing continuous improvement and best practice in all contract performance areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in supply chain operations and account management.
  • Experience managing large accounts in a fast-moving logistics environment.
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of revenue models, rate cards, P&L, cost-to-serve, and commercial analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally with both internal teams and customers.
  • Experience managing debits and following up on invoicing.
