Education Leadership Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Officer to join our team at Thrive Group Tasmania Inc.
As an Education Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care services to children across Tasmania. You will work closely with educators, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that our programs meet the needs of our children and families.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Early Years and School Aged Care Programs, including coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and preparing reports. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of educational programs, including curriculum planning, assessment, and evaluation.
In addition, you will provide guidance and support to educators, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating program quality, making recommendations for improvement, and collaborating with other teams to achieve organisational goals.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $78,500 per annum, plus superannuation and generous benefits. The successful candidate will also receive relocation assistance, food and accommodation allowances, a company car for work use, additional leave days, and access to a comprehensive employee benefits program.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 50% completion towards a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification. You will also need to hold a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People card and have a minimum of three years' experience in the early childhood industry.
Desirable skills and qualifications include a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, knowledge of early childhood development, and demonstrated ability to lead and support educators with a team-oriented approach. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry-specific software.
