The role of Educational Leader in our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service requires a specialist with strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. As an Educational Leader, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide quality education and care to children, supporting their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • To contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework.
  • To develop positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.
  • To facilitate play-based learning environments that are responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • To document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Children Services (desirable)
  • Previous experience working at an OSHC Service
  • A work history demonstrating recording observations, writing learning stories, and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and community members
