Rural General Practitioner Opportunity in Lightning Ridge

Immerse yourself in the unique experiences of Lightning Ridge, a thriving mining town situated near the NSW and QLD border. As a Rural General Practitioner, you will be an integral part of the clinical team providing essential healthcare services to the community.
With a variety of GP sessions, ED cover, ward rounds, and on-call work shared across the service, we ensure adequate rest periods for our staff. The multi-purpose service has 4 ED & 4 Acute beds, 1 respite bed, and a 19-bed residential aged care service.
The General Practice operates Monday to Friday and offers mobile x-ray and visiting allied health specialists. This role is perfect for GPs seeking a rural opportunity with a flexible work-life balance.
Estimated Salary: AU$220,000 - AU$320,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Essential Criteria:
- Vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM)
- Recent rural emergency experience
- Current ALS2 (or equivalent) certificate
