Job Description

As a Brush Cutter Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
  • Assisting with other groundskeeping tasks as needed.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

About the Role

Brush cutting, herbicide application, and light horticulture form the core of this position. You will be working in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the upkeep of exceptional green spaces.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field.
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • White Card.
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
