The Department of State Development is a key player in shaping South Australia's future by driving economic growth. As a newly created agency, we are recruiting across several different roles to help drive our state forward.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic support and advice to the Chief Executive and Department.
- Deliver and manage a comprehensive range of professional, confidential, and responsive executive support services to the Chief Executive and Department.
- Maintain key relationships and networks within the Department and externally, including with Ministerial Offices, Cabinet Office, and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and contribute to the improvement of business processes and capabilities to support the Department's objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in utilising high-level interpersonal and communication skills when working with stakeholders at all levels to positively influence outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the structures and decision-making processes of the public sector.
- Significant demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering professional, responsive, and effective executive services to senior leaders.
- Highly competent in handling confidential information with tact and diplomacy, and in the exercise of judgment and implementation of practical solutions for the provision of advice on complex and sensitive issues.
- Strong attention to detail and well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyse complex departmental and business challenges, at both a strategic and operational level, and make critical decisions that align with the Department's objectives and values.
- Competitive salary ($108,109 min - $116,864 max pa) plus superannuation.
