Job Description

As an Inventory Management Specialist at ITM Mining, you will play a critical role in overseeing and analyzing the company's inventory holdings to minimize working capital while ensuring stock is held across both Welshpool and Yatala facilities to maximize sales opportunities.

You will be responsible for preparing and conducting fortnightly stock review meetings for senior management, performing daily inventory analysis to predict potential problems, anticipating future requirements, and accurate order quantities. Additionally, you will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure movement of obsolete stock, creating new items cards, and updating item cards with standard vendor costs.

Purchasing Management Responsibilities:

  • Raising and sending purchase orders to vendors
  • Amending purchase order pricing/quantities and expected receipt dates
  • Follow up and expedite overdue vendor order confirmations
  • Source ad-hoc inventory quotations and availabilities

Container/Backorder Management Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining vendor backorder reports
  • Updating purchase order expected receipt dates / splitting open purchase order lines to reflect shipped quantities.
  • Liaising with warehouse and other teams to ensure requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation.
  • Creating container receipts.
  • Updating expected receipt dates based on reports received from freight forwarders.
  • Goods receipt of delivered containers.

About You:

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement, preferably a masters.
  • Experience with undercarriage components or related mining equipment
  • Power BI experience
  • Business Central Experience
