Job Title: Senior Insolvency Analyst

RSM Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Insolvency Analyst to join our Restructuring and Recovery practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting with the planning and control of small to medium insolvency engagements, as well as performing more technical tasks on larger engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the affairs of companies and individuals, identifying areas of financial distress and developing strategies for recovery.
  • Prepare and review ASIC reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the interview of directors and bankrupts, gathering information and evidence to support insolvency proceedings.
  • Review and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with lawyers, agents, and auctioneers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare reports to creditors, providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations for recovery.
  • Draft correspondence and act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major, or Law degree with a focus on Insolvency.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of insolvency and restructuring principles.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
