We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Delivery Associate. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers. The Warehouse Delivery Associate will be responsible for transporting goods to various sites efficiently, making on-time undamaged deliveries, engaging professionally with customers, maintaining vehicles and equipment, picking and packing orders accurately, completing paperwork correctly, and keeping the warehouse clean and presentable.About the RoleThe Warehouse Delivery Associate will be responsible for the following key tasks:
  • Transporting Goods: Transporting goods to various sites safely and efficiently.
  • Making Deliveries: Ensuring on-time undamaged deliveries to our customers and obtaining signatures as proof of delivery.
  • Customer Interaction: Engaging professionally with customers while delivering or picking up goods.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Keeping company vehicles and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
  • Picking and Packing: Accurately preparing customer orders for dispatch.
  • Paperwork Completion: Ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly filled out.
  • Warehouse Upkeep: Maintaining a clean and presentable warehouse environment.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to build rapport easily with customers and team members.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or trade environment, particularly in electrical wholesale, is highly desirable.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 23kg.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for order preparation and safety-conscious at all times.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using basic warehouse systems.
  • Proactivity: Proactive and motivated, with a "can-do" attitude, hardworking nature, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Presentation: Well-presented and personable, with a professional appearance and friendly supportive manner.
  • Licenses: Valid Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory for the delivery component of the role.
  • Working Rights: Full Australian or New Zealand working rights are essential, sponsorship is not available (no temporary visas).
