Lead Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our regional structural engineering team in Toowoomba, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading effective and commercially valuable structural engineering solutions across the region.

About the Role
  • This role involves providing advanced civil engineering services to our clients and achieving objectives against specified Key Performance Indicators.
  • The Lead Structural Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, maintenance and review of long-term asset management plans.
  • Certification of civil engineering works as a professional engineer is also required, ensuring compliance with safety, operational and environmental legislation.
  • Conducting engineering and technical investigations and preparing reports on asset safety, condition and reliability issues is another key responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of structural design principles and relevant Australian standards, with experience in leading complex engineering work and providing technical guidance to Asset Managers, Planning coordinators and project delivery teams.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or related field
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) certification in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Valid Driver's Licence
