Our hospital is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant.

About the Role:
  • Assist in preparing food trays for patient consumption by ensuring they meet our high standards of quality, safety and presentation.
  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays according to established meal schedules while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly, taking pride in every dish that leaves our kitchen.
  • Clean and sanitize food service equipment in accordance with industry food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willing to attain) demonstrates your commitment to professional development and meeting industry standards.
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services showcases your ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team highlights your flexibility and adaptability in different situations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including early/late shifts and weekend work ensures you can meet the needs of our dynamic team.
