Support Tradespeople as a Labourer

The successful Trades Assistant Labourer will play a pivotal role in supporting tradespeople on various job sites. They will assist with day-to-day tasks, prepare and set up tools, materials, and equipment, and perform general labour duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradesperson on-site with daily tasks
  • Prepare and set up all required tools, materials, and equipment for the job
  • Fully maintain and clean blasting equipment as needed
  • Shadow tradesperson to provide hands-on support
  • Perform sanding and spotting work as part of surface preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in construction or industrial environment preferred
  • White card
  • Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in the trade
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
  • Experience with industrial coatings or abrasive blasting (desirable)
