Job Summary

We are seeking a Trolley Collector Driver to join our Proactive Services Team. As a Trolley Collector Driver, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle.

About the Role

This is a part-time or casual opportunity available with shifts starting early mornings (6am starts) or evenings (4pm starts) and weekends. You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates). Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks

  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
