This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of testing strategies and processes that ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational security policies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing test engineering teams and a strong understanding of test management tools, such as Azure DevOps.

A successful track record in implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium or similar tools is also essential.

Solid leadership skills are required to manage and mentor junior test engineers and ensure a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business units, IT, and cybersecurity, is crucial to align testing strategies with operational and compliance requirements.

Regular monitoring and reporting of testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior management and stakeholders are necessary.

An understanding of security policies and compliance requirements relevant to aerospace and defense sectors is also necessary.

The ideal candidate should be familiar with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC) in complex, regulated environments.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.

Experience working within aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments is also highly valued.

Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices is desirable.
