Your Role:
Our client is in search of a Junior Site Manager to oversee apartment construction initiatives located in the Northern Suburbs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and coordinating the activities of subcontractors and suppliers on-site.
- Implementing the company's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols, including conducting site inductions.
- Ensuring project quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
- Facilitating and leading trade coordination meetings.
- Planning and managing materials handling effectively.
- Providing support and guidance to the project team through effective communication.
Candidate Profile:
- Trade qualifications in carpentry.
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager or Foreman, particularly in managing medium-rise apartment projects with basements.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in construction management software such as Procore and 1Breadcrumb.
