Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to support our maritime program. This role will play a critical part in maintaining and delivering ship maintenance schedules that support Defence capability.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage service delivery schedules, including integrated maintenance programs and Ship Maintenance Availability schedules.
- Lead planning activities such as the Target Budget Estimate (TBE) process.
- Update schedules and track progress against Contract Deliverables (CDRLs).
- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Sponsor continuous improvement initiatives across scheduling and support services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply, Governance, and Operations.
- E nsure compliance with Defence statutory requirements and company standards.
- Contribute to reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Promote a strong safety culture and secure work environment.
- Support the business in maintaining key client relationships through timely and quality schedule delivery.
About the Role
This is an 11-month maximum-term contract, with strong potential for a 12-month extension. The role must be performed in Cairns.
