Grounds Maintenance Opportunity

Join our dynamic maintenance team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort in Newcastle, Australia.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Groundsperson to maintain the high standard of presentation at the property and its surrounding areas. This includes golf course, gardens, lawns, pool areas, and other common areas.

  • Maintain the property's grounds and ensure they meet the desired standards.
  • Undertake regular grounds care tasks such as mowing, fertilizing, and gardening.
  • Assist with irrigation system maintenance and management.
  • Clean and maintain all tools and equipment.
  • Support in servicing the pool and spa areas.
  • Identify and report hazards and risks within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of turf management, horticulture, machinery, and irrigation systems.
  • Formal qualifications in sports turf management (minimum Certificate III).
  • Strong knowledge of chemicals and their safe use.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.
