As a valued member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping heritage outcomes across NSW. The Approvals Committee is responsible for approving proposed changes to listed items and driving the Heritage Council's strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in Aboriginal cultural heritage and be able to provide effective corporate governance. As a Committee Member, you will contribute to the work of the Approvals Committee, providing leadership and strategic direction to achieve outstanding results.

The Committee meets 11 times per year, with an option for teleconferencing. Meetings are generally held in Parramatta, allowing for convenient access to our team. As a key member of our committee, you will be expected to actively contribute to the work of the Committee and promote the profile and integrity of the Heritage Council.
