Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Alfabet | Recruitment + Search is partnering with a leading healthcare provider to recruit a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their Group Procurement function.

This role involves working across various categories, including travel, fleet, uniforms, office supplies, corporate services, and ad hoc sourcing priorities.

  • Support Category Managers and the Head of Procurement with sourcing tasks and enterprise-wide priorities
  • Lead or assist with procurement activities across indirect categories
  • Respond to operational queries from business sites, delivering timely resolutions
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders on onboarding, pricing updates, and product/service availability
  • Assist with data analysis, tender administration, and vendor performance tracking
  • Provide administrative support for procurement projects

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of procurement experience (indirect/non-clinical categories ideal)
  • Strong communication skills – engaging with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Energetic, personable, and approachable with a proactive attitude
  • Organised and detail-focused, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercially minded and analytical, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Purpose-driven industry – your work supports patient care
  • Varied categories – never a shortage of interesting projects
  • Supportive team environment

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days onsite in office and 2 days working from home. The organisation offers a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for professional growth.

Candidates must have ongoing and unrestricted rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship and/or relocation assistance is not available for this position.
