Fiber Optic Specialist

Job Overview:

Prysmian Group is a leading global cable manufacturer with over 100 years of experience. We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Specialist to join our team at our Dee Why Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and terminate connectors, and configure passive optical components
• Perform tests, measurements, and evaluations on fiber optic products in compliance with quality standards and order requirements
• Produce and package Prysmian products following standard operating procedures
• Check, count, and pack received, stored, and dispatched products
• Conduct regular stock checks and update stock data using the MRP system
• Maintain clean work areas to reduce contamination risk

This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and excellent coordination skills. Key qualifications include proficiency in handling small fiber optic components and equipment, ability to organize and record material, willingness to follow work instructions, and self-motivation, discipline, and organization.
