Job Summary

Smart Talent Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to support and deliver ICT projects. This role involves both leading and hands-on software development, with about 25% leadership and 75% development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the development team and manage workload, develop and maintain C# enterprise software, create automated build and deployment scripts, and follow Scrum methodology for projects. They will also liaise with technical and business staff to resolve issues, maintain development schedules, and track project progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead the development team and manage workload to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain C# enterprise software, including creating automated build and deployment scripts.
  • Project Management: Follow Scrum methodology for projects, maintain development schedules, and track project progress.
  • Communication: Liaise with technical and business staff to resolve issues and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

About the Team

The successful candidate will be part of the Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) within the AEC's Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG), focusing on robust ICT functions and modernization.

Selection Criteria

  • Technical Lead Experience: Experience as a Technical Lead with strong team management skills.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Hands-on experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and liaison between tech and business teams.
  • Automated Build/Deployment Scripts: Expertise in automated build/deployment scripts and.Net technologies.
  • Backend Development: Backend development experience with web API and SQL.
  • Cloud Applications: Experience with cloud applications and technical analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to manage priorities, deliver quality results, and communicate effectively.
  • Integrity: Proven integrity and ability to work within legislative and policy frameworks.
