Overview:
The State Government Of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team. As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the growth and development of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in a classroom setting
- Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support student growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs, ensuring alignment with state and national standards
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in education
Requirements:
- Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- Qualifications and experience in teaching and/or curriculum area specified for the position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons, with a focus on student-centered learning
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in education
