Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Child And Adolescent Health Service Wa. As a Clinical Nurse Educator - Perioperative Specialist, you will play a key role in providing effective teaching and facilitation functions to promote a culture of learning within the perioperative specialty area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and facilitate strategies to promote and embed a culture of learning within the specialty area through simulation, theory, and workshop programs, e-learning, and mentorship.
* Coordinate perioperative mandatory, essential, and safety skills training in collaboration with the Staff Development Nurses and the CAHS Learning and Development team.
* Support individual staff performance development activities within the specialty area's learning programs in consultation with the Nurse Educator - Surgical Directorate, Nurse Coordinator - Perioperative, and the Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Requirements:
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
* Eligibility to apply for this position is open to Australian citizens and permanent residents.
