About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and graduate engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Share your time between project involvement and management responsibilities
  • Represent Stantec externally to clients, playing a senior and active role in managing relationships
  • Support and guide engineers and graduate engineers to enable them to perform successfully
  • Prioritize workloads while ensuring client needs are met
  • Demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge and provide oversight to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify opportunities for innovation within the mechanical engineering teams
  • Develop strategic business opportunities to shape Stantec's defence sector in the region
Requirements
  • Hold a Mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent
  • Have experience working in the consulting or engineering industry and a good understanding of the local Adelaide buildings business
  • Be well-connected/networked within the industry and able to foster client relationships
  • Significant HVAC design experience on building projects
  • Ideal experience working in the Defence sector
  • Ability to make quality business decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
