- Deliver outstanding patient care, prioritizing dignity, respect, and cultural awareness.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each detainee.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements for this position include:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
- Relevant post-graduate qualification (desired)
A minimum of five years' experience as a Registered Nurse, including hands-on patient care in an operational setting, is required. Strong knowledge of contemporary issues in drug and alcohol-related health services and ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policies, standards, and guidelines are also essential.
