About This Role

As an integral member of the HR team at CAE Australia, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and pragmatic HR solutions to key stakeholders within our program delivery teams. Your expertise will be sought after as a trusted advisor, offering guidance on people-related matters and supporting the wider HR team.

This role is based in our Head Office in Homebush, NSW, where you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of HR and key members of the program team to deliver exceptional results.

The Key Responsibilities of this Role

  • Collaborate with the Head of HR and program team members to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
  • Be actively involved in the entire hire-to-retire lifecycle of employees on the program, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management, remuneration, and benefits.
  • E nsure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and regulations.
  • Develop initiatives to improve the employee experience, focusing on process improvements, policy development, and people-focused projects.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on various HR-related queries.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Specialist with a proven track record in HR management. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, and benefits administration.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of employment legislation in Australia, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience working for a global company and previous payroll experience.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with your experience, which includes a base salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as superannuation and professional development opportunities.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of our business, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current clearance. We are committed to ensuring that our employees maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
