The Police Custody Officer is a critical role within the local police team, offering a dynamic and rewarding career. As a valued member of the community, you will play a key part in managing and supporting individuals in custody.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage persons in the custody of law enforcement agencies
- Ensure the health, wellbeing, safety and supervision of individuals in custody, staff and visitors
- Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless management, transportation and communication for individuals in custody
- Execute all prisoner management functions in accordance with established legislation, policies and procedures
- Supervise individuals in custody of the court
