Network Security Technology Lead

To create a secure digital future, we're seeking an accomplished professional to lead our network security efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructure across our organisation.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for firewalls, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and load balancers.

  • Lead technical design and implementation of secure network and cloud services.

  • Own and evolve technologies like Network Access Control, VPN, and SASE.

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with CIS/NIST standards.

  • Drive compliance with frameworks including PCI-DSS, ISO27001, and uplift security posture.

  • Champion automation and DevSecOps practices to streamline operations.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Must Haves:

  • Degree in IT or related field.

  • 10+ years' experience with Cisco routing and switching (CCIE certified).

  • 5+ years' experience with Fortinet technologies (NSE7 certified).

  • Deep expertise in remote access, NAC, and certificate-based authentication.

  • Proven ability to create and maintain detailed design documentation.

  • Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and cloud routing protocols (e.g., IPSEC, GRE, GENEVE).

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, insurance).

  • A degree in IT or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, and CCIE certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Fortinet technologies, and NSE7 certification.
  • Expertise in remote access, NAC, and certificate-based authentication.
  • The ability to create and maintain detailed design documentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills.
